SS26 Schedule:
The season starts with Renee Cafaro Atelier launching her Out of Scale collection at White Space
Chelsea during New York Fashion Week on Friday 12th September. Renee Cafaro Atelier is an ethical,
fair wage, mission-based couture house in NYC. The Out of Scale collection attempts the revival of 80’s
aesthetic as the antidote for feeling trapped in Orwell’s 1984. The show will include Mary Lambert in
addition to Sports Illustrated model Velonika Pomee and Project Runway veterans Jazzmine Carthon and
Liris Crosse.
In London, Devonshire Square marks 10 years of hosting Oxford Fashion Studio’s London shows with a
full schedule on Sunday 21st September. The 2.30pm show opens with Karpova, a team from Kyiv being sponsored by Oxford Fashion Studio, with a contemporary reinterpretation of Ukrainian customs through the female gaze. TomFoolery, home of the patented drop seat jumpsuit, liberates the wearer with a functional design mixed with the flirtatious freedom of draping and volume followed by Chelsea Grays, a luxury streetwear brand that redefines fashion through art and activism by blending military-inspired elements with artistic designs promoting social change and sustainability.

Renee’Larouge explores the six stages of grief through the designer’s own interpretation and personal experience, while Jiwya, a 100% plant-based fashion brand from India, demonstrates the future of fashion with their radically transparent soil-to-soil ecosystem. Kuteka Printell closes by celebrating bold silhouettes, art influence, and volume with a collection inspired by the poetry ofnature in motion. SuKaz returns to London Fashion Week to open the 4pm show with her signature bespoke art jackets followed by a collaboration between designers Linda Sekoll and Royal Black Couture who have looked to the past, studying old masters, remixing it with their own experience to create new shapes. InVintaged seeks to empower those wishing to embrace their unique style journey by celebrating all stages of womanhood. Viktoria Marchev builds on the designer’s experiments with silicone rubber and lifts it to another level around the theme of scuba-diving and underwater experience. Statement bag creator RIYSYS, rooted in Indian craftsmanship, takes inspiration from the sharp corners, soft folds, and negative spaces of the cities the designer has lived in. The 4pm show closes with Vino Supraja presenting a cultural and heartfelt tribute to the art of handloom, the weavers, and the vibrant life they lead in the townof Bhavani. Soramame, the Vietnamese couture house, headlines an exclusive show at 6pm launching the Sparkles of Momentum collection celebrating timeless flattering silhouettes while reimagining classic feminine proportions. Rooted in curiosity and openness, Soramame embraces dialogue across cultures, believing that fashion is a universal language that connects us all. This season sees Renee Cafaro Atelier, Renee’Larouge, InVintaged, SuKaz, Tom Foolery, Vino Supraja, Viktoria Marchev and Hellavagirl all returning to the Oxford Fashion Studio schedule alongside ten brands showing for the first time.

OFS LAB:
OFS LAB, a new programme created by Oxford Fashion Studio specifically to platform concept and art-led designers, launches with a headlining concept show to close the show schedule this season. More than 40 applications were received, 13 were shortlisted with four brands selected for the programme by Carl and Tiffany Anglim, the Directors of Oxford Fashion Studio. Chenchen Studio, based in London, opens with Waveform pieces focussing on sculptural silhouettes contrasting with Flutterform pieces that bring fabric to life with gentle motion. Elsa Nilaj, an Albanian designer based in Mumbai, translates traditional crafts and cultural heritage into contemporary and unique designs. Hellavagirl, who first showed with Oxford Fashion Studio in the inaugural international season 10 years ago in 2015, resurrects couture as cult, ritual, and requiem. Megan O’Cain, from Brooklyn, closes the show with a collection where each look acts as a kind of forensic study of the objects that evoke nostalgia, transforming small moments and intimate feelings into wearable worlds. All OFS LAB brands will feature in the 8pm closing show of the season on Sunday 21st September at Devonshire Square in London.

A Decade of Shows:

Panama to Tonga.
Oxford Fashion Studio began life in 2009 as Oxford Fashion Week attended by Anna Wintour, David
