Eine meiner Bekannten aus meiner Zeit als Dozentin an der Uni hat einmal gesagt: “Julia du hast ein Chihuahua? Ich dachte, solche Hunde sind für solche Frauen wie Paris Hilton. Und für solche, wie uns – eher ein Schäferhund.” Worauf meine Antwort war: “Ich bediene keine Klischees.” Ja, ich bin Akademikerin, ja, ich habe zwei erfolgreich abgeschlossene Hochschulbildungen, ja, ich spreche vier Sprachen und ja, ich bin Fashionista und liebe Chihuahuas. Und nein, ich bin nicht perfekt! Wie jeder andere habe ich meine Makel und erwische mich selbst oft, wie ich mich Klischees bediene. Wieso so viele Bildungen und Zusatzqualifikationen? Ich bin Osteuropäerin. Viele Qualifikationen zu haben ist in wirtschaftlich instabilen Ländern überlebensnotwendig! Falls es in einer Branche schlecht läuft, ist man flexibel und kann dank weiterer Qualifikationen immer noch in eine andere Branche umsteigen. Klar studieren wir die Fächer, die uns am meisten interessieren, und klar bringt es Spaß, etwas Neues zu erfahren und zu entdecken. Aber gebt zu: Viele Prüfungen zu bestehen ist kein Vergnügen, sondern fordert Nerven, harte Arbeit und Disziplin. Hochschulbildung und Modebewusstsein: Das Eine schadet dem anderen nicht :).
Also war ich mit meinem kleinen “Klischee” spazieren. Mein Mäuschen namens Lawine, hat gerade eine schwere OP überstanden und konnte endlich wieder fröhlich und munter durch die Gegend hüpfen. Mein grau geprägtes Outfit habe ich mit der DVF Lederclutchtasche aufgepeppt. Momentan bin ich ganz verrückt nach dieser Tasche. Sie ist nicht nur fashionistisch, sondern auch preislich günstig und lässt sich gut zu Tages- als auch zu Abendgarderobe kombinieren.
ENGLISH: Do We Make Use of Clichés?
One of my friends from my time as a lecturer at the University once said, “Do you have a Chihuahua ? I thought those dogs are for those women like Paris Hilton. And for those like us – more of a shepherd”. My response was:” I serve no clichés”. Yes, I am an academic, yes, I’ve successfully graduated from two universities, yes, I speak four languages and yes, I am fashionista and love Chihuahuas. And no, I’m not perfect! Like everyone else, I have my flaws and catch myself many times as I am using clichés. Why so many university degrees and additional qualifications? I am East European. To have many skills is essential for survival in economically unstable countries! If it runs poorly in an industry, we are flexible and can thanks to further qualifications still change to a different industry. Sure, we study the subjects that interest us most, and clearly it’s fun to learn and explore something new. But do admit: to pass many tests is not fun, but needs nerves, hard work and discipline. Higher education and fashion sense: The one does not hurt the other :).
So I was walking with my little “cliché”. My little mouse named Lawine has just recovered from a serious surgery and was finally happy and lively hopped around the neighborhood again. My gray-dominated outfit I’ve spiced up with the DVF leather clutch bag. Right now I’m crazy for this bag. It is not only fashionable, but also low priced and can be combined well with daytime and evening wardrobe.
