Bootstour in Amsterdam

ENGLISH: Boat Tour in Amsterdam

How can you learn in the shortest time as much as possible about Amsterdam? I have only one answer: A boat tour! Boat Tours in Amsterdam are one of the most interesting and informative attractions of this city. Within an hour you will experience the long history of the city – of course in a shortened version. You will receive answers to many of your questions that arise on the first day of your stay in the city. In any case, I got the answer to my question “Why are the houses so crooked?”. You can learn a lot about the history of the Amsterdam canals, their residential neighborhoods, about the bridges and why the dancing houses are called “dancing”. But I had the impression that these houses were not the only ones, which dance in Amsterdam. By this tour, I came also to the “Museum of Bags and Purses”.

We started our boat tour from the Amsterdam Central Station, which is in itself a sight. The weather on that day was going crazy, sometimes it hailed, sometimes it rained and in the next minute the sun was shining gloriously. The weather transitions you can see in the photos. For such a rapidly weather changing Ralph Lauren wellies are ever properly and for a boat trip anyway. I was very glad to have my warm Best Connections cashmere cardigan on, as it was also very windy. And the gloves are a “must have” for me both in winter and in the transition seasons. For the transition season I have accordingly thin gloves with open wrists areas.
